Thanksgiving flower arrangements

It’s 5 years since I started blogging in Japanese. 4 years in English. Time flies.

At that time I didn’t know how to sharemy skills and experiences, I just did Ikebana, Japanese flower arranging and Tea Ceremony only for myself.

Now I offer Ikenobo classes, demonstrations and workshops and I would like to share in the joy of Ikebana with more people.
It’s peaceful and fun, just like Yoga. And beautiful. Beautiful Meditation!

Today I had Ikebana classes and enjoyed making the fall flower arrangements,a little different from Japanese Ikebana. It appreciates negative space but today’s goal is to play and harmonize fall flowers with pumpkin freely. Thanksgiving  is coming soon.

I appreciate American culture living in the U.S. So our flower arranging has both Japanese
taste and American,I think.img_4758
