I am preparing for my second visit to Newtown, Connecticut

I am preparing of my second visit to Newtown. I am going to send another 20,000 origami cranes. This time I would like to bring Sandy Hook Promise.  I hared it was founded by families and neighbors and I have wanted to share our prayer with them and other organizationsPreparation for summer camps.

For summer camps I will send plastic bamboos for origami decoration for Tanabata, decorations and prized for children. Of course origami.

Last time I brought a big electric pot and it was so heavy. Child ren at “Breakfast with Santa” last December seemed to enjoy writing their names i n Japanese more than tea ceremony which needed a heavy pot and sweets from Japan. The activities using only pen and origami, light weighted was more fun for them, maybe?  But for some adults tea ceremony was enjoyed more. There were many wonderful meeting.

I am looking forward to seeing children and sharing our culture  and send our prayer to some  organizations and the town.
