I would like to share the beauty of cherry blossom

I am happily living in Dallas but always miss Japan around this time of the year, thinking of Japanese people enjoy viewing cherry blossom, Hamami花見.Pale pink petals and rich pink buds. Though their life is short, every Japanese has memories of  cherry blossom. In April is the beginning of school year and fiscal year. Entrance ceremony of school. Entrance ceremony of work places. Full of expectation and a little uneasiness and nervousness.

This is how I feel. So cherry blossom reminds all memories and beauty of Japan!

I found cherry blossom branched and arranged in Ikebana. They will bloom soon full of expectation.  My Ikebana expresses expectation and joy of spring!

When I found cherry blossom branches at the market for the first time in the U.S 6 years ago, just at the same market, I almost cried with joy. That time I arranged with pink roses.

I could remember the excitement and I would like to share with you.
