Imperfect practice makes perfect! said Brian Tracy.
It’s been 3 years since my first Ikebana demonstration at Crow Collection of Asian Art in Dallas.
For me it’s like a Blessing of God. I never though of having such an opportunity to share in he joy of kebana. I was so glad that what I have been learning would benefit others. Also I can do it as a profession. I talked to much about me and Ikebana and I didn’t go as I planed but that resulted in better outcome. Participants use their imagination rather than my instruction and the feel more proud of themselves because they did it by themselves.

One Lady called Sarah took a note and sitting in the front row. She has been friends with me. She said she liked my speech! Imperfect brought a better result.Comparing the presentation of 2013, my current presentation is much better! I kept imperfect practice and making my presentation better and better. Still not perfect, but far better.
You just need a courage to try and just keep doing, practicing. If you have something you would like to try, remember “Imperfect practice makes perfect,”and try it!
