It’s fall and fall flower is crysanthemum! Japanese Chrysanthemum Festival

I enjoyed chrysanthemum Festival last week, I missed Japanese one so I checked on line about Kiku Matsuri and found very interesting story. Kiku Matsuri (Chrysanthemum Festival) started at a shrine after Japan and Russo-Japan War (1904-5). The chef priest of shine exhibited chrysanthemums in the precinct so that people calm.

Then year by year the exhibition has become larger and more creative. Now it’s one of the representative Chrysanthemum festival in the nation with other interesting events like Yabusame and lighting up.
