It’s fall and season of chrysanthemum!

It’s fall and season of chrysanthemum‼ In Japan there are many kinds of crysanthemums. My grandmother used to grow a big single flower chrysanthemums in the garden. She was blind but she could do almost everything by herself. I learned a lot form her experience and the lessons of hers. How to be a good person, how to respect people, how to appreciate peace and how happy our family had good relations among each other.

I remember her when I see chrysanthemums. Chrysanthemums bring me fall and sweet memories.

Ikebana class we tried a traditional style Shoka. We can’t have same kind of chrysanthemums which have longer stem and bud-stage as I used in Japan.

Here I enjoy American Ikebana in America.
