Japanese confectionary is kawaii and kirei

Kawaii package可愛い、カワイイ、かわいいKawaii is Japanese word to describe a thing/person that is beautiful, cute, tiny,in style and more to appreciate.love, and admire. Women use it quite often.

I would like to show  you some Kawaii things. It is a Japanese confectionary, called Manju 饅頭、まんじゅうor Omanju お饅頭 おまんじゅう; O adding politeness.

This is 綺麗、キレイ、きれい Kirei too.  This Omanju tasted very springy! It goes well with Japanese tea. I love cakes, chocolate and cookies and I love Japanese confectionary as well. Like Japanese cuisine, I enjoy its beautiful presentation and delicate taste. No butter and no cream but it’s so good.  美味しい、オイシイ、おいしい Oishii. ?Taste good.

Living in the States, it’s difficult to get same confectionary as in Japan so this was so precious. My friend’s husband bought form Japan. I was so happy to taste it.

Thank you Yoko!  It was perfect for tea ceremony!
