Join Beautiful Project; one flower for one person/household

I dreamed ” One flower for each home all over the States.” when I migrated to the States. Japan is a small country and we live along side of nature. Having flowers at home is common in our daily life, especially for me.

Cut flowers live much shorter than artificial flowers. Americans have a bigger house and they need more flowers. Artificial flowers are easier to maintain and less expensive in comparison changing cut flowers time to time.
Artificial has beauty but cut flowers have life and only one in the world just like a human being. Precious!
They are more beautiful because of their short life, I think.

All around the world, we see and hear innocent people killed everyday and everywhere. This week too, even in Dallas where I live. I don’t know how to solve these problems but I know a flower can brighten our life, our world. One flower changes atmosphere of the place, make people relax, smile and happy. I am doing Ikebana: the Japanese art of flower arranging and you don’t have to get bunch of flowers. OOne flower for each homenly one stem has a potential power.

Why don’t you make your self and people around you positive and happier with one flower?
Please join my beautiful project! A flower will connect people!  Japanese blog 花一輪プロジェクト
