Kimono booth at Otsukimi Oct. 27 Dallas

kimono booth

At the kimono booth, you can touch and try the kimono. The kimono is gorgeous. I would like to you to experience the  beauty and emotion when you wear a kimono.

It’s fall now in Dallas. This morning, I found many fallen leaves turning their colors on the tree.  Cool. The best time of the year! Otukimi means Moon Viewing.

Kimono is a traditional Japanese outfit, and I love to wear it. Before I decided to come to the States, I didn’t wear kimono except coming of age, friends wedding. Special tea ceremony though my parents bought for me in my younger days.  Like most women, I went to a Kimono lesson to learn how to wear it. Wearing kimono reminds me of being Japanese.

I am lucky to find a kimono teacher near me. I can wear it, but I want to be better. It’s always nice to learn from someone with more experience and skills. I want to keep learning.
