Let’s write your name in Japanese

I am wondering how I can express my gratitude for readers of my blog. I can write your name in Japanese. Japanese had three kinds of writing; Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana. Kanji came originally came from China and it is still widely used, even though there were some minor changes and some are Japan original. Kanji has meaning. The meaning and sounds are different from that Chinese people used.  Kanji has its meaning. Most of Japanese have name written in Kanji and every name has meaning and usually it is wishes of parents or lucky number stroke of Kanji.

So when you talk to a Japanese, some will ask what your name mean. My name 意子 and 意 means hear, 子 means child,  this is traditionally used for girls name. These days no more common. Trend is more like sound oriented. When I was a child, it’s hard to find a girls name without 子ending.

Hiragana and katakana is phonetic alphabet. Hiranaga is mainly used. Katanaka is used to describe name of people and placed originated abroad, not from Japan. Both were invented form Kanji. simplified or a part of  Kanji.

I would like to write your name in Katakana if you write your name and send it to me from contact form.   If  you go to Home and put your name and email address, I would like to send you my Chapter ( Chapter 22 Living A Dream, Bridging Two Cultures from Cracking The Success Code. I would like to share my story.

Thank you very much.
