My friend Ellen’s artistic life with plants

I visited my friend Ellen and she has a green thumb. She takes good care of plants. She is very creative. I was  inspired by her art work. One is a boxed garden of air plants. The greenery healed us. In Japan there’s remedy/counseling with making a small garden in a box, which is called 箱庭療法Hakoniwa ryouhou.  I just felt so calm and relaxed.

Another is the one below. She used three black rice bowls and purple potatoes!!!! Amazing! The purple potato looked like rocks!

She cooked us fired rice and Chinese cucumber pickles, so delicious. I saw her to make a spring roll with vegetable and rice paper. She is a good cook!
