Setubun is a fun traditional event to invite happiness and good luck to home

節分Setubun is a fun festival which most of preschools did this event.

According to a lunar calendar February 3rd is the last day of winter and it divide winter and spring.Spring is when a new year starts.

There is Oni; demon or ogre wearing pants made of fake tiger skin with bat. Oni is asymbol of evil spirit, disease, bad luck , anything bad.

Fuku; good fortune, happiness, health,wealth, anything good.

We thro soy beans saying “Oni wa soto, Fuku wa uchi.”

Evil out, Good come in!
