Akimatsuri Kimono booth 2019 Dallas

I met beautiful people at Akimatsuri Dallas. Motoko Japan hosted a booth of experience Kimono and learn Japanese etiquette.

We prepared everything perfect but always had some unexpected happening, but thanks to help of Jennifer, event coordinator and students of Japanese class at colleges where I visit.

I prepared Tatami and Shoji screen to make the booth look like Japanese tatami guest room. I wiped all tatami and screen so that my guests could taste the real Japanese room with cleanliness. Also, I brought Zabuton, a cousion to sit on, Tea set, Ikebana for Tokonoma. kimono to try. I was so excited to welcome people like my home. I wanted to teach etiquettes so that they behave with confidence in Japan. However, people had more interested in wearing kimono.
