Tea Ceremony 茶道 Appreciate this moment and life is an accumulation of moments

The essence of a tea ceremony is that we realize how precious a moment is and appreciate every single moment and every person we meet. In the tea ceremony, there is a very famous phrase: Ichi go Ichi e 一期一会. It means our encounter is once in our lifetime.

This is casual and simple. However, all procedures and movements are the same as the formal tea ceremony: pot and background music. I added a piece so that you will feel relaxed. Usually totally quiet.

Our day consists of 24 hours, 1440 minutes, or 85400 seconds. 365 days makes one year; one year equals 31,536.000 seconds. Our life consists of billions of seconds. Each is not the same. Each is unique and will never come back to us again.

Focus on this moment and enjoy yourself. So precious. If we share time with others, we appreciate the meeting over tea. Tea ceremony 茶道;さどう ちゃどうguides us to appreciate time and people as well as total peace of mind by practicing tea ceremony. I want to share a tea ceremony with you anywhere you are.

What kind of moment do you remember?

What was the happiest moment of your life? What was the moment you never wanted to experience again?   All are precious!
