Online language and culture exchange

August Special Hiroshima andPeace Online US-Japan meeting for middle and high school students

Everyone is an ambassador, which I learned through experience, travel, and life.

If I’ve become friends with someone, I’ve wanted to know more about him, his culture, his language, and the nature where he lives. I never want my country to invade or fight against it, so I believe in one person’s power and friendship between individuals.

We hosted an online meeting, the fith Cool Kids, August special.  The theme of the event is “LIFE.” becuase August is a paticular month for Japanese people thinking about life. We pray for Hiroshima, Hibakusha, wat victims on August 6, 9, and 15 ; the ending of the war. Alos we have Obon festival when we feel connected with our ancestors. During Obon it is belived that the sprits of our ancestors come back and stary for a few days.

August Special metting was successful!

I have hosted an online meeting for students with two Japanese people, Akari. And Hiro both have a big dream for future generations.
