In Japan, we enjoy colored leaves in the fall. Usually, beautiful fall leaves are seen in temples, shrines, and mountains.
In spring we enjoy cherry blossom whose petals are light pink. In fall we enjoy colored leaves which are red and yellow. We call them 花見、はなみ、HANAMI is in spring. 紅葉狩り もみじがりMOMIJI GARI in fall.
Both are must seasonal events and very popular all over Japan.
I made it into a art by displaying on black lacquered board, which looks like a black Obi belt for fall kimono.
