I celebrated International Yoga Day with my Yoga teacher and friends on June 21st.

International  Yoga Day!!
I had never heard of it. I thought it’s a joke yesterday. I celebrated Yoda Day, doing Yoga with a teacher and my yoa mates!  She took a picture!

I joined in Yoga claass Sunday mornings. I exercise for my health as walking and strech by myself. I had never tried Yga until last November.  I fell in love with Yoga at the first time.

My joints of shoulders and legs seemed to be streched to 100%!  My body got warm. I bought my own Yoga mat soon after the class.  I heard Yoga was only for men until 1970s.

I am enjoiyn Indian culture. When I laid down on the mat, imagining myself under big tree in India. After moved to the States, Indian culture and people are becoming very familir to me. I have Indian friend and can enjoy diffrent culture and same values.  I am living a dream life, feeling trevel around the world.

A friend of mine said Ikebana is a mental Yoga. It  made me refreshed and I didn’t think any other things. In that sense Ikebana is like mental Yoga. Ikebana; the Japaneseart of arrnaging flowers originated from Zen temple. Zen is closely related with meditation.
