Richardson Public Library is my favorite place. I like it and I like people working there. I come once a week sometimes twice a week. Since I started Ikebana, Japanese art of arranging flowers, I have used study room in the basement. It’s in the basement and there are no natural light. One fresh cut flower provide us with sense of life and nature. I love flowers. I love Ikebana, I want to share my joy with as many people as possible.
A life of a flower is short. It grow and died in its natural setting. Once it is cut, its life is over However it is given a new life as a part of Ikabana, which is arranged with other flowers, branches a vase . The flower is harmonized with other flowers and branches, also matched to a vase and a new setting. I want to appreciate its beauty and life to the fullest so I have left my small Ikebana left there. Sharing joy of Ikebana. Sharing beauty of flowers and branches.
I am very glad to have an opportunity to have a demonstration and workshop there. One of my dream is coming true. One home, one flower. Try Ikebana. Find beauty of nature. Find your inner beauty!
