#Ikebana is fun and soothing. If you are busy and feeling stressed or overworked, I would like you to try Ikebana. People always say that they are too busy to sit and arrange flowers. However it’s not right. If you sit and start to observe flowers and branches, you start to feel calm. Gradually you will feel focus on the flowers without thinking.
You will feel happy to see your beautiful creation after you finish arranging. Also your Ikebana will make others happy too. Flowers also happy to share their lives and beauty with others. We are sharing time and lives.
Ikebana we use fresh flowers and they won’t last long. That’s why we can appreciate their beauty much more. What do you think?
Here’s a video of Abigail , my students taking Japanese culture class privately. Thsi is her first Ikebana experience. Before arrange I talked about the history of Ikebana and how to arrange beautifully. She made a really beautiful Ikebana. The most important secret that flowers have their faces and backs!
