Don’t you think it’ll be nice if you can give a corsage you made to your mother?
I had a corsage class in the end of April so that you can make a nicer one for Mother’s Day. It is very simple and you can design yourself. Using wire and floral tape and cut flowers.
I am living away from my mother and I can’t give it to her but I am happy if you can do it for your mother. Pick her favorite color. 
Some flowers are very delicate and they are not suitable for a corsage. Orchid and rose are great. Carnation is great!
I love working with flowers becuase there are always stories behind, expressing love, gratitude and encouragement, sometimes sorrow and prayer to be shared.
In Ikebana I can express both joy and prayer.Why don’t you make one thinking of your mother? Have a wonderful Mother’s Day.
