We celebrate Hinamatsuri: Girl’s Festival and display Hinaningo dolls wearing traditinal kimono.  Wishing for the happiness fo the girls. Parents/Grandparents buy Hinaningo dolls for a daughter/granddaughter.   The size and style have been changing according to the change of life style and value but its wish had not been changed.  We display the dolls and eat chirashi zushi (a kind of sushi) and clear salty soup with clam.  Clam is a symbol of a good couple stick together.  We eat hina arere(rice cracker, sometimes colored pink, light green and white)

Hinamatsuri (March 3rd) Please listen to a Japanese music Hinamatsuri. From Adagio played by Honon 穂音 http://members3.jcom.home.ne.jp/adagio-dc/hinamaturi by Honon

I loved my Hinanigyo very much and I was so proud of it with roof and many furniture. The last time my mother decorated for my sister and me was when I was elementary 6th grade.  Always the dolled look elegant and beautiful. I like to see the kimono and delicate ornaments of women dolls and facial expression.  I love dolls.

In many towns old Hinaningyo displayed and open to the public around this time of the year. It’s fun to see variety of dolls.
