Like Girls’ Festival on March 3, they celebrate this day, displaying Samurai armour or helmet or doll of a hero considered healthy strong bo such as Momotaro, or Kintaro. Japanese iris called Shobu arealso displayed. Shobu leaves look like samuai swords. Also the pronunciation of Shobu means fihgting spirit. Soaking with shobu leaves is believed to stay away eveil sprits. Japanese looks spersuticious sometimes but they like to do anything that others do and believed to good for their children.
