Tea Ceremony Getaway

I am a tea person.  I like any kinds of tea, green, black, herb and flavored. I am Japanese and I was brought up drinking green tea for Japanese food.

Drinking hot tea made me refreshed and recharged.  Even during a very short break, only a few sip awaken and calm my body and mind. Cold tea does not work as well as hot tea, I think.  Hot tea is my energy drink.

When I have time or need get away, I make tea for myself. Tea ceremony is also life long learning like Ikebana. I like it and it’s natural to keep practice even by myself. Nobody are with me but I bow just like having a guest or host. Here in the U.S, I can’t do everything like in Japan but I can enjoy as much as I was in Japan. Once I start, I feel like being in a tatami room of my tea ceremony teacher or my house I can make real green tea latte too.  You will love it. When I found Teavana in a mall, I was soooo glad to know  that there are tea lover, my friends here!
