Though it’s a tough, sad, and gloomy time, what I can do is to thank, hope, and pray.
I have much time to think these days about things I had ignored in my daily life.
Last night I realized how many people worked for my one meal. Someone grows vegetables, Someone delivers to a store. Someone sells to me. There are many many people working, directly and indirectly, for me. I forgot to appreciate those people who support my life, not knowing their faces or names. I must appreciate it. I really understood what the Japanese phase “Itadakimasu; いただきます,” meant. I always say it but not with enough thanks and respect for people and higher being. After the meal I said “Gochisosamadeshita; ごちそうさまでした means “thank you for the food and your labor to prepare and cook for me.” from the bottom of my heart.
Outside of my home, many people who are fighting the virus directly and indirectly. All are strong and intelligent. I pray for recovery. I hear the siren of the ambulance and watch doctors and nurses working. I can imagine many more professionals as well. There are invisible powers and strength of love and dedication.
That’s why I pray I hope soon we will win over the Coronavirus. COVID-19
I Thank, Pray, Hope for you all.
