Dear my friends,
Thank you very much for joining my Ikebana workshop!
I had a very good time and I hope you did . Your Ikebana were so beautiful and each of them had its own beauty and character. They were only and unique in this world. You used almost same kinds of flowers and greens but each arrangement was totally different. They had different beauty and characters:
beauty of the color combination, beauty of the curvy line of branch, beauty of the contrast of lines and surface. Elegant, cute, friendly, clean, bright, cheerful, peaceful….
All arrangements inspired me. I was impressed how you choose flowers and greens.Though I didn’t enough have time to explaining about 自由花 Jiyuka, free style, you seemed to understand the plinciple; to find beauty and make it look the most beautiful. You were thinking what was the best place to put a flower, how long a stem was to be cut.
You were also impressed how beautiful arrangement you created!
I also thank you all stuffs of Crow Collection, my friends and my husband who helped me with Ikebana workshop. Thanks to you we enjoyed Japanese art here in Dallas 2013, hundreds thousands miles away from Japan hundreds of years.
I could not use all I made for workshop such as slide show, handout, presentation board. I would like to tell how to care flowers before arranging and how to keep your Ikebana fresh and new here in my blog time. I would love to my knowledge with you.
Ikebana is my friend and my teacher. Your beauty reflects your Ikebana. I hope we can enjoy Ikebana together soon!
