I am writing e-book about Ikebana. I love Ikebana; Japanese art of flower arranging. I have been practicing around 30 years. In my house I need cut flowers arranged in a vase. It is not necessarily bunch of flowers. Just single flower makes me happy. Also it makes the space alive.
When I am thinking of the title of a book. What’s the purpose of my book? Not tell or show Ikebana but I would love to encourage readers to try, experience arranging flowers by themselves. Not by florist to make a beautiful and gorgeous flower arrangement.
We can live without flowers around us. However once we have a life with fresh cut flowers in our life, it’s hard to stay without them. It’s okay but we will feel something missing. And we go get flowers or cut flowers and branches from our yards. The we will feel happier and healthier. It’s has scientific proof too. Just like Vitamin or supplements for your body. We don’t have to take a lot but it’s something needed and help our body and mind in better condition. That’s my logic. What do you think? Please come and try! I am excited to meeting you at late event of Crow Collection of Asian Art on October 17.
