Visit Newtown, CT

I visited Newtown CT with my friend Chiiyoko. She joined me from Japan. This is my thrd visit here. First before one year anniversary.  Second last year I joined in children’s summer camps and visted senior center to share in joy of tea ceremony. I woudl like to offer some Japanese culture experience but this year I didn’t have much time to spend there. So the main purpose of my visits was to do any thing I ccould to express our love ans prayer to the families of 26 angels and heroes. Then I started making origami cranes by myself. Then more and more people living in Japan. Our origami cranes reache over 480,000. Love and care and prayer were embodied into origami cranes. This is a video of cranes, schools and towns joined in this Origami project.

By contacting Newtown Resilience center and parks and Recreation center, I could vist Newtown and prayed on the ground with our origami cranes. All we can do is to pray. God worked for us. I borught origami crane and if possible I offered these cranes on the place and prayed. We couldn’t get out of a car near the school so we prayed in the car.  I saw Police car.  I woudl like to share our love to the Police officers who have devoted themseves.  I talked to a young police officer why I was there and Origami cranes. I was very gald that he, police officer accepted our hear and prayer. He kindly reported to the captain. We handed origamicranes to the Captain of the Newtown.  Thank you for serving.

Two visits made me realized that Newtown, all friends and neighbours, children and adults, were also hurt and grieved as well. To do something new mdiffrent would be of any help, I thought. Thanks to Elizabeth and RoseAnn, my first visit was allowed. I couldmeet many people ans share time and Japanese culture. The more I came, the more I knew how painful it was and also how strong they are striving. I love this town and people. This time I could meet people I met and shred time and Japanese experience last year. Especially RoseAnn is my family in the town. We never forget the angels and heroes.
May God bless them and and the town.
