Hanaiku 花育is a Japanese education for kids to foster a sense of beauty and appreciation of life through experience with plants and flowers.
Hana 花 means “flowers” and Iku 育 means “to foster, to educate, to cultivate.” We use cut flowers because they have a life, They need to be watered and taken cared. They are to be wilted, finish their life. Just like us.
By observing and taking care of plants and flowers kid can learn how beautiful and precious each flower is.
Each flower is different like a human.
Flowers can connect people and make us happy and smile.
